Why we built Cubbee
When our son was born, sleep, or the lack of it, took over everything. Like most first-time parents, we assumed we'd figure it out. We didn't expect how long it would take just to understand the landscape: dozens of methods, wildly different philosophies, sleep schools versus independent consultants, and no easy way to tell who was actually right for our situation.
We spent weeks piecing together information that should have taken an afternoon, comparing approaches, reading between the lines of marketing copy, trying to work out which consultant matched our son's age and our own parenting instincts.
Talking to friends further down the road made it clearer this wasn't a one time problem. Sleep regressions don't stop after the newborn stage. Nap transitions, toddler sleep resistance, developmental leaps, the challenge changes shape but keeps coming back, and every time, parents are left googling from scratch.
So we built the thing we wished had existed: one place with the information, the options, and the ability to actually contact the right person, filtered by your child's age, your family's approach, and what you can afford, rather than whoever ranks highest on Google that week.
Cubbee isn't a replacement for the expertise these consultants bring. It's the shortcut to finding the right one, faster than we did.
What we believe
- Transparent beats polished. Methods, prices, and credentials belong on the profile, not behind a discovery call.
- There's no one right method. The right approach is the one your family can stick to. Our job is showing you the options, clearly.
- No judgement. However you got here (rocking, feeding to sleep, co-sleeping, night ten of a regression), you're doing your best on not enough sleep.
How Cubbee makes money
Consultants can pay for enhanced listings. Searching and contacting consultants through Cubbee is free for parents, we don't take a cut of consultant fees, and paid placement is always labelled. Every listing, free or paid, is reviewed by a real person before it goes live.
